ICA Domus Trust (IDT):

In recognition of the valuable contribution made by Dr. Mauritz Bonow to the development of co-operative movement throughout the world and particularly in developing countries, the ICA Domus Trust (Dr. Bonow Memorial) was set up on 25 October 1988 under the Indian Trust Act with its registered office in New Delhi, India.

The Trust is fully supported by International Co-operative Alliance. IDT has sound financial health and owns its own office at 9, Aradhana Enclave, R.K Puram, New Delhi. It is presently constructing an ambitious infrastructure in NOIDA for the advancement of the interests of the trust.

IDT has qualified and experienced human resource to carry forward the agenda of co-operative development in India and adjoining nations. The ICA Domus Trust has 5 trustees, comprising of the ICA President, ICA Vice President for Asia and the Pacific, ICA Director General, ICA Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific and one representative from the Indian co-operative movement.

Following objectives of the ICA Domus Trust complement the activities of the International Co-operative Alliance in the Asia-Pacific Region.

To propagate co-operative principles and methods for the promotion of co-operatives in India and adjoining neighboring countries.
To assist the promotion of economic and social progress of farmers, workers, service providers and consumers through co-operative efforts
To promote friendly and economic inter-co-operative relations,
To convene and promote periodical co-operative conferences/meetings, send experts/delegates to study and observe co-operative working and achievements,
To bring out publications for the promotion of teachings and study in co-operation and carry out research studies relating to co-operatives
To formulate, assist and implement special programmes/projects for the involvement of youth and women in co-operatives and upliftment of the weaker sections of the community,
To collaborate with co-operatives, United Nations, its specialized agencies, other voluntary and non-governmental international organizations which support the development of co-operatives,
